Smartphones have become an indispensable accessory and are starting to replace our wallets. This means we can take great photos without a separate camera; upload those photos to social media instantly. Provide video distraction during your commute. Get directions in foreign cities and even (did you know?) make phone calls.
Phones have gotten bigger over the years, and thanks to tiny bezels around the edges, the display still fits in the hand (although in some cases barely fits). So it's worth trying the phone before buying it. If you previously owned a large phone, downsizing can free up more space in your pocket or purse, but it may be difficult to go back to a smaller display.
